"And as our lives change, come whatever..."

Many apologies for being away so long, good friends. It's been a bit of a rough time for me over here, and I want to start by thanking everyone in my life - family, friends, coworkers, etc. - for being so supportive and helping me along. I'm extremely lucky to have such caring people in my life, and I hope all of you reading have a similar support system in your lives. If you can, please send some good vibes to my family in NYC - they could use all the positive energy they can get these days.

So happy belated holidays to you all and happy new year. Has 2007 started off well for you thus far? I've never been one to make a new year's resolution, but some of my friends made great ones. I've heard people wanting to better themselves this year either by improving their health or by seeking professional betterment. Kudos to those seeking a better tomorrow!

On a completely unrelated note, I'm getting back in touch with people I first befriended in my first few years of life, i.e. folks I first met in first grade and kindergarten. Crazy stuff, I tell ya, but fabulous. These are people who knew me for my early formative years, we went to different high schools and colleges and are now reconnecting and discovering each other again after a few years apart. It's kind of like a reunion, and is actually pretty great. Quality stuff, and very therapeutic to be in touch with people who knew you when life was still innocent and unjaded.

Have you stayed in touch with friends from your younger years? Did you reconnect with pals after years apart? Share your tales!! I'd love to hear them!
